The aim of this conference is to bring experts from all over the world to discuss the topic of planetary atmospheric environments from planet Earth to Exoplanets through the Solar System. All contributions dealing with studies, observations and experiments (in-field or laboratory) on atmospheres are very welcome in order to compare methodologies and see where synergies exist or could be made between those working in a specific field, such as the Earth or Martian atmosphere or the giant planets of the Solar System, and those studying other planetary environments, in particular exoplanetary.
Topics will also deal with the origin and evolution of planetary atmospheres and environments, and the interaction between planetary surface or sub-surface activity and the atmospheres.
The main goal is to prepare the next generation of astronomers and physicists to embark on this exciting and challenging research field. Therefore, young researchers, PhD students and post Docs, are encouraged to submit and present their idea or projects and the results of their research; the Scientific Organising Committee will select talks and posters by young presenting authors preferentially that will be published on the workshop proceedings; the friendly and welcoming location in Chianti-Tuscany will favour interactions and discussions between young researchers and invited experts offering wider question time and breaks, round table, social events.
